VoiceFace TOS
These are the general Terms of Service for voice databases distributed on the VoiceFace website.
While these terms serve as a general base for all vocalists distributed, please note that individual vocals may have differing terms. As such, please ensure that you read through the details of each voice database carefully to avoid any violations of ToS.

These are the default terms for VoiceFace vocalists as of 18/10/2025:

General Terms 
Commercial use of VoiceFace voice databases is allowed.
Commercial use of characters attached to VoiceFace voice databases is allowed.
NSFW/R-18/R-18G of VoiceFace vocalists is allowed by default. However, certain vocalists may have different permissions. Please refer to their individual page for more information related to R-18 content.
Usage of VoiceFace voice databases or associated characters for political statements, slander, or other disruptive activities is strictly prohibited.
Usage of VoiceFace vocalists for religious statements is prohibited, except for in the case of artistic motifs or songs such as hymns.
Using VoiceFace voice databases and characters for the following types of expressions is unconditionally prohibited:
- Explicit underage sexual content (including lolicon and shotacon)
- Criminal/illegal content
- Bigotry and/or hateful content
Claiming authorship of these voice databases and characters is prohibited.

Characters and Artwork
Published works using VoiceFace voice databases are not required to include visual depictions of the associated character.
Artwork does not need to depict the vocalist.
Minor edits (overlaid filters, silhouette effect, flipping, etc.) of character artwork for works using the associated database are allowed.
Major or malicious editing of VoiceFace character artwork is prohibited.

Redistribution
While these voice databases are being publicly distributed, redistribution of the databases in their entirety is not permitted. However, parts of the database (such as an edited oto) may be distributed so long as any changes made are clearly stated.
If any database is discontinued, it may be uploaded on archival sites such as UTAU Lost Media for the sake of preservation unless the database's individual terms state otherwise.

DISCLAIMER: VoiceFace and its members hold no responsibility for damage of any nature to the user or third parties resulting from use of these voice databases.

Failure to comply with these terms may lead to you being blacklisted from signing up for VoiceFace beta testing. If multiple breaches occur, you may be asked to delete VoiceFace-related content and/or stop using VoiceFace voice databases.

You'll also have to live with the shame of breaking some simple rules for vocal synths. :P
